Gavin Dixon Elizabeth Walker, nee Stanbridge, has performed widely as a flautist and recorder player, Elizabeth began her training at the age of 12 as a junior exhibitioner at the Royal College of Music where she was awarded the woodwind prize in 1985. In 1991 Elizabeth won a Dutch embassy scholarship to specialise in early flutes at the Koninklijk Conservatorium where she studied flute with Wilbert Hazelzet. Today, Elizabeth enjoys performing and recording with a number of orchestras; § BBC Symphony Orchestra § City of London Sinfonia § The Classical Opera Company § Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment § The Monteverdi Choir & Orchestra § New London Consort § The Sixteen § The English Concert Elizabeth is married and lives in London and Somerset with her husband Julian and two children. Henry (aged 15) has won a Music Award to Bryanston and Charlotte (aged 13) is at Wells Cathedral School as a Special Provision Musician.
