Elizabeth
Walker has performed widely as a flautist and recorder player, Elizabeth began
her training at the age of 12 as a junior exhibitioner at the
Royal College of Music
where she was awarded the woodwind prize in 1985.
Elizabeth
went on to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama
where she studied

recorder with Philip Pickett

baroque flute with Stephen Preston

renaissance flute with Nancy Hadden

modern flute with Kathryn Lukas
In 1991 Elizabeth won a Dutch embassy scholarship to
specialise in early flutes at the Koninklijk Conservatorium where she
studied flute with Wilbert Hazelzet. Today, Elizabeth
enjoys performing and recording with a number of orchestras; among them
